SUSTAINABLE ENERGY FOR RESIDENTIAL CONSUMPTION: EOLIC versus PHOTOVOLTAIC

Abstract

This work proposes a study on renewable energy for residential use, specifically between Wind Energy and Photovoltaic Energy, and the elaboration of a comparative among them, where all necessary information will be collected, in order to conclude which will be more economically and environmentally satisfactory. The two options for power generation that will be addressed have shown a notable growth in the Brazilian and world scenario due to the potential of electric generation and installed capacity. The study presented here aims to analyze the best conditions to implement both systems, the types of equipment to be used, care with installation and maintenance, and the advantages and disadvantages they present.
