His article aims to bring to light the importance of child development through spaces developed specifically for the act of playing, recognizing the school playroom as an educational environment and facilitator in the construction of identity, skills and autonomy. The School Toy is a space of relevance for students, because in it they can playfully experience their participation in the social world, interacting and discovering different possibilities of solving problem situations. To this space that encourages both social and cognitive competences, the mediation of the teacher towards the student becomes the link between playfulness, didactics and learning. For pedagogical purposes, playing becomes a tool capable of providing and even being a facilitating agent for the development of skills in different fields of experience. These precursor skills form the formation of an integral individual, reflecting in a healthy way, in an autonomous, active, critical, participative adult and responsible for his actions and relations with the world.
